Psychotherapist, meditation teacher, movement practitioner and explorer of human freedom

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
My path to this work has been winding and unexpected. I came to psychotherapy through experience design and movement practice—spending years exploring how direct experience shapes and transforms our perception of self and world. Much of my early interests were in games, immersive theater, LARP and the avant-guard of Odessy Works, Punch Drunk and Wanderlust Projects. The joy and mystery of this process continues and yet I've learned enough that I can begin to share how thought, emotion, the body and the world can move towards healing, wholeness, and expression. That consciousness itself can shift, where stuck patterns can unwind, and where freedom can be felt as a lived reality rather than an abstract concept.
In parallel, I've been drawn to contemplative practice and nondual awareness—first through the Buddhist Theravadin tradition and then into both eastern and western schools of direct path non-dual traditions. This approach revealed something profound: that awareness itself can shift, and that from an open, awareness-based perspective, even difficult emotions and sensations can be held with ease. That a great intimacy, compassion, curiosity and freedom is available to all of us. A delight for me has been discovering the work of Loch Kelly (Effortless Mindfulness) and Richard Schwartz (Internal Family Systems Therapy, IFS) which together Bridge the gap between contemplative awakening and psychotherapeutic healing. These practices may not be the focus at the start of our journey but they'll be an ally throughout.
My training started as a social worker in the wilderness of Colorado and Utah for as a wilderness therapist for a program called Open Sky, it introduced me to the magic of nature as healer. That evolved to include other experiential therapies including IFS, Coherence Therapy, and Somatic therapy. Now it goes a step further to include awakening as the next stage of human development.
If this resonates with you and you're curious about working together, I'd love to hear from you. The first step is a brief consultation where we can explore whether we're a good fit.
